Fund Raising

The Community Shop in the High Street is the beating heart of our organisation.  The significant funds it raises enable us to offer great support to our community.

Customers say it’s “the best charity shop in the North” and as well as offering great bargains in clothing, homeware, books, and small items of furniture it’s a mine of local information on everything Belford has to offer.

Volunteer

We have no paid members of staff and our shop volunteers play a vital role in raising funds for our work.  Being a volunteer is sociable and rewarding and a great way of meeting people as well as giving something back to the community. 

If you would like to join our shop team, just pop in and introduce yourself and you’ll be given a very warm welcome.  You can choose how many hours you work and you will be given full training.  Alternatively, send an email to belfordcommunitygroup@gmail.com.

Donations

We accept donations of good quality used clothing, jewellery, household items, books, toys, crafting materials, pictures, bedding, CDs, DVDs, electrical items and antiques.

Please ensure all items are clean and in good condition.  Donations can be brought to the shop during our opening hours: Tuesday to Saturday, 10am to 3pm.

Please do not leave donations outside the shop if we are closed.
